Special Purpose Tooling
Bar Knight Precision Engineering has a long established history in toolmaking and over the years we have continued to build our skill base to ensure we deliver innovative cost effective solutions for our customers. We have a very strong presence in supplying the Laser, Electronics and Medical industries with jigs, fixtures and custom built machinery.

Prototyping

We work closely with many of our Customer Design Engineers helping them develop various designs for Manufacture. Our collaborative approach and our materials and machining expertise ensure we minimise the amount of prototypes required.

This can be an iterative process where we manufacture the prototype and then the Engineers re-evaluate the design. When the prototype has been tested, and the design finalised and signed off, we then work on creating the most cost effective mass production methods.

Reverse Engineering
Our expertise in Reverse Engineering has been called upon on numerous occasions where components or drawings are not readily available. We can quickly produce a new 3D model which we can then translate into the appropriate drawings and machine programs for manufacturing.
