We have been called upon on several occasions to manufacture replacement parts that can no longer be bought “off the shelf”. The Sir Walter Scott Steamship is a prime example of this where a quick turnaround was essential to ensure the steamship could continue to sail as planned. In this and similar situations we only have worn samples to work with but we are very experienced and in most cases we can quickly engineer, or reverse engineer, a replacement part in the required time-frame.
